About Me
Academically, I am an undergraduate student majoring in Journalism and double minoring in Sociology and Social Justice, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Athletically, I run middle-distance on the Women’s Track and Field team while serving as a founding member of the Sooner Circle, President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and university representative on the SEC Leadership Council. Professionally, I’ve interned with Nike, Inc. and the Baltimore Ravens in their communications and marketing departments, respectively.
These roles and responsibilities have instilled a strong work ethic, effective time management, vocal and servant leadership, and keen communication skills. They’ve also exposed me to the inner workings of a successful athletic department, corporate office, and professional team’s front office. These experiences have prepared me to thrive in a work environment that values growth potential, formidable action, and transformative impact. I am committed to working at a high level, but I am driven most by my passion for people. Everyone is a man or woman in their own arena- my mission is to ensure that they know they have a least one fan in their corner.
As my time as a collegiate student-athlete at the University of Oklahoma comes to a close, my career in sports media is only beginning. In my first full-time role, I hope to gain a diverse set of experiences, develop transferable skills, and network in the world of professional sports- which will undoubtedly change the trajectory of my career. However, I am confident that I can and will add to my team by bringing in a fresh perspective, collaborating on cross- functional projects, engaging with senior leadership, and enthusiastically representing the brand.
